Wondershare Repairit: Advanced video repair using a sample file

Step-by-step

1. Turn on the Advanced option for the corrupted video
2. Click on Repair
3. Click the plus icon to add a playable sample video recorded with the same device or software
4. Click on Repair again to begin the reconstruction
5. Click Preview to verify the video quality
6. Click Save and select a destination folder
7. Open the 'repaired' folder created by the software to view the final file

• Change the sample video if the initial repair preview is not satisfactory

Watch out for

• The sample video must be taken from the same device or software as the corrupted file

Tips

• If you don't have a sample video, you can record a new one using the same equipment or software used for the original
• The content of the sample video does not need to match the corrupted video (e.g., it doesn't have to be a webcam recording just because the original was)
