Step-by-step
- Go to Insert and select Upload
- Select a video file from your local folder to upload
- Click the Text icon to add a text overlay to the video
- Double-click the text object to edit the content
- Toggle Show all timings to view the timeline bars for each object
- Drag the edges of the text object on the timeline to adjust its duration
- Use the zoom slider to shrink the timeline view if you cannot see the end of your clips
Options
- Show timing for all objects simultaneously
- Show timing only for the selected object
Watch out for
- Multiple text elements within one group are treated as separate objects in the timing view
Tips
- Shrink the timeline view to get a better overview if your project has many elements or long durations
