  • Leave the footage at the original scale instead of upscaling.
  • Use the Iris tool as an alternative for detail enhancement.

  • The Progressive setting should only be used if there are no interlaced fields in the footage.

  • Start with the Improved Detail setting low and move up gradually, as it can be quite aggressive on VHS footage.
