Step-by-step

  1. Click the Record button in the sidebar
  2. Select a recording mode such as Camera and screen
  3. Select the desired webcam and screen source
  4. Click Share to begin the recording
  5. Return to the main tab and click the stop button to finish
  6. Click Insert to add the recording to the project timeline

Options

  • Paste text into the built-in teleprompter
  • Record camera only
  • Record screen only
  • Record voiceover only
  • Install the Chrome extension to trigger recordings without opening the app
  • Enable or disable system audio recording
  • Move the camera preview window during the recording to clear the view

Watch out for

  • There is a 30-minute limit per recording session

Tips

  • Record in multiple short chunks to build out a project incrementally
  • Scale the camera layer to full screen for introductions, then scale it down for the screen-sharing portion
