Step-by-step

Navigate to the Trim section at the top of the interface
Click Remove Silences to automatically detect gaps
Select a speed setting for silence removal
Click Remove Bad Takes to have AI flag and delete repeated script attempts
Highlight specific text in the transcript and click Remove from selection to manually trim
Use the Reset button if you need to restore the original footage

Options

Choose between Natural, Fast, or Extra Fast silence removal speeds
Manually remove sections by selecting text in the transcript

Tips

Clean up your video in the Trim section before moving on to captions
Use the Remove Bad Takes feature specifically if you repeated parts while reading a script
