Step-by-step
- Go to Media and select Sound Effects.
- Search for and select the 'mouse click computer' sound effect.
- Drag the sound effect into the timeline.
- Go to Elements and add a Title for each word of your text overlay.
- Remove all transitions and fades from the text elements.
- Align the sound effect clips with the start of each text element in the timeline.
- Go to Properties and decrease the volume to 50% for each sound effect clip.

- Shorten the duration of the sound effect clips in the timeline
Watch out for
- Ensure you remove the default fade transitions from text elements to sync properly with the click sound
Tips
- Decrease the sound effect volume to around 50% so it is not too loud for the viewer
- Break up text into individual elements (e.g., 'over', 'six', 'figures') to sync a sound effect to each word appearing
