Create a custom AI template in Kapwing

Step-by-step

1. Click Create custom Kai in the top right of the homepage
2. Enter a name for your custom tool
3. Add a description to serve as a reminder or instructions for others
4. Paste an AI prompt into the Kai settings box
5. Upload reference images to train the AI on a specific style
6. Select an AI model from the dropdown menu
7. Click Save
8. Upload an image and click Generate to test the template

Options

• Copy and paste prompts from other AI tools like ChatGPT
• Select the Nano Banana model for adding items into images
• Select the Sea Dream model for transforming subjects into different styles
• Change settings later after the tool is live

Watch out for

• The Kai settings box must be treated like a standard AI prompt box for the tool to function correctly

Tips

• Add brief instructions in the description box if you plan on sharing the tool with a team or followers
• Use reference images to help the AI better understand the desired replacement style
