Color grading video in Adobe Lightroom Mobile

Step-by-step

1. Play the video and pause at a frame where the background, face, and body are all clearly visible
2. Tap the Edit tool and select the Light option
3. Adjust Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, and Whites according to your video's requirements
4. Go to the Color tool and increase Vibrance and Saturation
5. Open the Mix tool and select Green to adjust the background hue and saturation
6. Select the Orange color in the Mix tool to fix skin tones by increasing Luminance and decreasing Saturation
7. Tap Done and use the Temp slider to fine-tune the overall color balance

Options

• Slide Green Hue to negative for a yellow background or positive for a green background
• Adjust Cyan and Red saturation levels based on specific video elements

Watch out for

• Lightroom Mobile does not provide a sharpness tool for video editing

Tips

• Pause the video on a comprehensive frame to ensure color grading looks consistent across all elements
• Use the VN app after exporting from Lightroom to increase sharpness and achieve an HD look
• If the face appears too red after increasing saturation, use the Orange mix tool to correct it
