ComfyUI: Create 3D text using ControlNet in the cloud

Demo summary

A demonstration of using a ControlNet workflow on Running Hub to transform a simple black-and-white text image into a 3D rendered effect.

Step-by-step

  1. Select the ControlNet 3D text workflow and click Launch on the cloud
  2. Upload a guided image (black text on a white background) in the Load Image section
  3. Enter a prompt describing the desired effect with the target word in quotes
  4. Adjust the ControlNet strength and the number of steps
  5. Click Run to start the generation
  6. Download the resulting 3D text image

Options

  • Rename and save workflows
  • Enable autosave for workflow progress
  • Refresh the interface if it gets stuck
  • Upload custom workflows

Watch out for

  • The first run takes longer and costs more coins (9 coins) than subsequent runs (4 coins)

Tips

  • If you get blurry images, try using 30 steps instead of 20
  • Use Photoshop to create the initial black text on a white background for the guided image

Highlights

takes simple black text on white and creates a nice 3D text effect
