- Select the clip and navigate to the Color page.
- Open the Effects panel and search for Relight.
- Drag the Relight effect onto the node line.

- Adjust the light position, strength, and focus using the on-screen controls.
- Uncheck the Relight Map Preview to see the final effect on the footage.
- Adjust the intensity or brightness sliders to refine the look.
Options
- Apply the effect in the Fusion tab instead of the Color page.
- Choose between Point light, Directional light, or Spotlight sources.
- Perform background separation to apply lighting only to the subject or only to the background.
Tips
- Crank up the intensity temporarily to clearly see how the light is interacting with the scene while positioning it.
