Install custom workflows and missing nodes in ComfyUI

ComfyUITry it →Watch full video →Sebastian Kamph ·

Demo summary

The video demonstrates how to drag and drop a JSON workflow file into ComfyUI and use the Manager to identify and install missing custom nodes.

Step-by-step

  1. Drag and drop the downloaded JSON workflow file into the ComfyUI workspace
  2. Open the Manager menu
  3. Click on Install Missing Custom Nodes
  4. Select all the missing nodes listed
  5. Click Install
  6. Restart ComfyUI
  7. Refresh your web browser

Watch out for

  • You must have the ComfyUI Manager installed to use the 'Install Missing Custom Nodes' feature
  • A restart of the application and a browser refresh are required for the nodes to take effect

Tips

  • Don't be alarmed by 'missing node type' errors when importing a workflow; it is completely normal
  • Treat the Manager as your 'best friend' for resolving workflow errors

Highlights

it's basically as simple as taking a JSON file that you've downloaded and drag that straight in here
